Community Supported Agriculture or CSAs were the beginning of the local food movement thirty years ago. CSAs are a way to know your farmer and develop a connection between the farm and your food. The CSA is a mutual commitment between the farmer and the CSA member. The members commit to the farmer by purchasing a share at the beginning of the growing season. This benefits the farmer by supplying money during the early part of the season. In return the farmer agrees to provide a weekly share of the harvest to members.
Our CSA is a sixteen week share, running from mid June through September each year.
